Boston, Monday, November 14th,

Dear all,

We’re almost at the end of this “RAAM for HIV Vaccine Project 2005”. There is only one more week until the Cocktail Reception, being held at the Langham Hotel in Boston. At this event, I will introduce most of the people who have been helping me to get this project underway. Then, Dr. Norman Letvin will give you an update about HIV Vaccine Research, and finally, Dr. Bruce Walker will receive the fundraising check, on behalf of Harvard Medical School, Division of AIDS.

I hope that you will come to this reception. You will see a slide show of some great pictures of wonderful landscape taken during the race. I can tell you that, although extremely hot and arid, the western part of America is absolutely magical and unforgettable. Also, you will learn the latest news about what’s going on in the HIV Vaccine quest.

For those of you who won’t be able to come, I’d like to thank you for your support to the cause and constant encouragement through your emails. This project has been a fantastic experience for me. I met great people along the way and I’ll never forget that. However, we might see each other in the near future...

Harvard Business School, Section C, Class of 2006, has donated $10,000 to our project:

Last May, Students of Harvard Business School planned an auction to raise money for various charities with special significance to the members of that class. With a great help of Professor Nabil El-Hage, my project was selected among 5 others charities. The auction was a great success, and they were able to raise a total of $60,000. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank them for their hard work and commitment to our cause.

The fundraising will officially end on November 21st, 2005, with the presentation of the fundraising check to Dr. Bruce Walker. So you still have one week to make a donation to this cause, and help us fight the disease. Thank you
